This is the #1 question we receive! Pricing depends on a number of different factors, such as the size of your project, the timeline available, other advanced functionality, and other project needs. Because of this, cost always varies and is never the same from project to project.

What am I getting from you for this price? Can you itemize it?

The cost covers the time it takes for 3eighteen media to conceptualize and create the ideas and implementations for your project, which is gathered from thorough research, careful analysis, and 3eighteen media's many years of design experience. Because of this, we don't itemize the creative process, and you shouldn't expect that from your designer. Once the project is completed, the finished product is yours to keep!

You can't "price match" a professional design. While you should shop around for comparable quotes on what you need for your project, keep in mind that costs always vary depending on the designer. Think about the value a well-designed website or well-written piece of material will do for your business. Customers who know quality will gravitate towards what looks good and stay away from cheap design and bad copy. Like the old quote goes, if you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur. Also, as with nearly all professional design firms, we do not work on spec.

Do you work with clients with smaller budgets?

Absolutely! 3eighteen media has worked with small businesses and non-profit organizations in the past, so smaller budgets can, in some cases, be accommodated.

What types of payment do you accept?

3eighteen media accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover; credit card payments are processed through PayPal. With most design projects, we request 30% to 50% of the quoted price before starting any planning, and the remainder is paid either when a scheduled milestone in your project occurs or before the final product is delivered to you.

What filetypes do you provide and accept for my project?

3eighteen media uses the Adobe Creative Suite for our design and development work. Web designs and CMS themes are provided as XHTML/CSS files with all images and Javascript files. Logo design files are provided as any image file format you choose. Print designs are delivered as .EPS files, and our reports are delivered as both .DOC and .PDF files.

We accept .PSD, .AI, .EPS, and other image file formats for all design projects. If you have text for your design, we accept both Microsoft Word documents and plain text files.

Absolutely! 3eighteen media clients receive our designer's cellular phone number (but don't abuse it!). If we're not available and you have to leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
